Conrad Menezes brings over 20 years of global experience to Bank of America where he is Senior Vice President, Architecture & Engineering Executive. Conrad has successfully engineered and led large scale voice & data network transformations helping companies achieve significant operational cost savings and business competitiveness; leading with vision and innovative design, open standards systems/protocols, re-engineering and strategic sourcing. He has a proven track record of developing and executing on business focused IT strategies, eliminating traditional and converged network complexities, simplifying and securing networks commensurate with high levels of efficiency, scalability, availability, performance, breach resistance and information security/regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Conrad served as Vice President, Network & Information Security at Sears Holdings, where he led the network & information security program and practice, modernizing and transforming the company wide telecom, network & information security infrastructure. In this position, he led strategic planning, engineering, operations support and compliance across all sears retail formats and subsidiaries. Prior to Sears, he provided data center, network and information security consulting to Fortune 1000 and private firms. Conrad has held a number of IT leadership positions over the years, in his last position at American Express he was Vice President, Technologies Integrator with the Technology Strategy & Operations Group, leading the global network strategy, architecture, standards and engineering for voice, data, and information security across all bank, card and travel business units.

Conrad holds a B.E. degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, India and a M.S.E.E. degree from The University of Toledo, Ohio, and is the author and co-author of several engineering and research publications. He has presented at several industry leading CIO/CISO networking and security conferences and serves on the advisory board at a number of technology firms.
